This month was an eventful month for BRP Architects as we celebrated two new hotel openings: Cambria Hotel Louisville and Homewood Suites Springfield. BRP provided architecture services for both properties.
This seven-story 128 room Cambria Hotel celebrated their grand opening on March 1, 2022, in the downtown historic district of Louisville. This makes it the first Cambria Hotel in Kentucky. The exterior of the hotel was designed to include limestone and brick veneer to complement existing architectural elements within the surrounding vicinity. Amenities of this hotel include a sundeck, an indoor swimming pool, a large fitness center, spacious guest bedrooms, covered parking, and 1,965 square feet of flexible event space, configurable for small gatherings, board meetings or larger conferences and banquets. The hotel also houses two full-service restaurants featuring American and Irish fare with a bar that serves local craft beers and Louisville-inspired cocktails.
The hotel offers an exceptional location just steps from downtown’s top attractions such as Museum Row, KFC Yum! Center, Louisville Slugger Field, Louisville Waterfront Park, and the Kentucky International Convention Center. The project team has achieved V4 LEED Silver certification on this incredible hotel.
