It’s that time of year again when the Springfield Business Journal puts out its Architects & Engineers Project Report. This summer local firms submitted 25 projects showcasing their expertise. Below we are displaying some of our projects in the report that our firm currently has in progress.
West Plains First Baptist Church addition and renovation

BRP Architects
BRP Architects is designing master plan improvements to the campus of West Plains First Baptist Church for 30,000 square feet in renovations and additions. The renovations are focused on improving wayfinding and creating areas for various age groups, as well as a day care, educational spaces, and adult meeting rooms. The addition includes a new entrance, lobby, gathering space, restrooms, and vehicle drop-off zone. A general contractor, project engineers and completion date have yet to be determined.
Caesars Republic Scottsdale

CJD Engineering LLC
CJD Engineering LLC is the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineer for Caesars Republic Scottsdale, a lifestyle hotel and the first nongaming hotel in the country by Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment. The 11-story property is designed with 265 rooms adjacent to retail destination Scottsdale Fashion Square. The hotel features suites, including five top-floor, 2,000-square-foot penthouses with outdoor terraces and butler kitchens; 28 suites with Peloton stationary bikes; and a bridal suite with hair salon amenities. The hotel features two Italian restaurants developed by chef Giada De Laurentis, a 7,000-square-foot ballroom, meeting spaces and a seventh-floor outdoor pool. BRP Architects designed the project and Layton Construction Co. LLC (Sandy, Utah) is the general contractor. Additional engineering work is by Olsson Inc., civil, and J&M Engineering LLC, structural. Biltform Architecture Group (Phoenix, Arizona) is the landscape architect. The project is slated for completion in February 2024.
