BRP had the pleasure of working with HCW LLC and the City of Manhattan as they were looking to expand their conference center along South 3rd Street, just off Route 18 in the Downtown Entertainment District of Manhattan, KS. While the original 30,000 square-foot Manhattan Conference Center was designed by BRP Architects and built in 2009 along with a connected 135 room Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. The conference center has been so successful in hosting nationwide conference events, additional conference center space was needed to support the growing demand.
Our design team worked to add 15,000 square feet to the existing conference center, providing additional meeting room bays with movable partitions to allow contiguous space between the existing and new addition. This newly added floor area can accommodate a thousand additional patrons and many different convention events.
“Designed to exceed the expectations of today’s professionals, this comfortable and spacious conference center features over 34,000 square feet of versatile meeting and pre-function space to accommodate up to 2,341 attendees.” – Manhattan Conference Center website
This now 41,000 square foot event facility makes it the perfect place to host your next Manhattan corporate event or social gathering. The new Conference Center addition was completed in late 2020.
