Every two years the Springfield Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) holds a design awards ceremony to recognize exceptional architecture in our community. This year it was held at the Old Glass Place on September 30th, 2022. At this year’s ceremony, BRP Architects was presented with a Public Recognition Award for our work on the Legacy Bank and Trust headquarters building at 3250 E. Sunshine Street in Springfield, MO. We are honored to receive this recognition and appreciate the kind remarks given by the jurors. Good job to the hard-working project team and a special thanks to our clients who allow us to work on great projects like these!
“Awards are an expression of recognition for superior performance. They communicate the message that well-designed architecture is valued in the community. Since buildings address a public audience on a daily basis, they should serve to educate, inform and increase public awareness of the importance of thought-provoking and intentional design. When properly publicized, awards contribute to a better understanding of and appreciation for the work architects perform.” – AIA Springfield
