Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church

Their Vision: A 1,300 seat church that accommodates a small worshiping community and a significant number of seasonal visitors.

Our Focus: Traditional church imagery and forms serve as the foundation on a steeply sloping site. New expressions of worship require a more intimate relationship between worshipers and the celebrant, so the basilica plan is widened to bring parishioners closer to the altar. A cruciform skylight over the center of the worship space and large windows defined by gothic arches and colored glass admit ample amounts of daylight into the worship space.
